Delicious bites + endless wine flights

This one-day celebration offered a flavor-packed experience showcasing the best in food and wine culture from Rioja, Spain. The Houston-based festival provided a unique culinary experience of gastronomy and notable wines from Rioja, served by some of North America's most forward-thinking food creators and bodega leaders.

 

Sip into Summer with Rioja

Serving classic tapas and sangria, Rioja is a standard among Spanish restaurants in Houston. We created momentum before the event through email marketing, social, paid media partnerships, and traditional advertising.

On top of my design responsibilities, I assembled target audiences for trade and consumers and made the automated email workflow in Hubspot, copywriting, and photography.

To raise awareness and encourage ticket sales around the Houston Tapas Festival event, we worked with 30 local influencers, most notably Rachel Lindsay from season 13 of The Bachelorette (finalists went to the fantasy suite destination of our dreams: Rioja, Spain).

 
 

Sip back and relax, Houston

In total, there were over 1,200 consumers in attendance and over 200 members of the trade at the 2018 Rioja Wine & Tapas Festival. The event sold out two hours after the doors opened!
